HP OpenView Route Analytics Management System (RAMS) 2.5
With the release of RAMS 3.0, HP is affirming the functional maturity of RAMS 2.5. HP will continue to allow additional purchases of RAMS 2.5 through May 31, 2005, and will continue to support RAMS 2.5 through May 31, 2006. HP recommends that all RAMS 2.5 customers upgrade to version 3.0. HP remains committed to providing ongoing product support as well as assisting with your transition planning.

HP OpenView Performance Insight 4.6 and Reporting and Network Solutions 4.0 Report Packs
On March 1, 2005, HP announced version discontinuance of HP OpenView Performance Insight (OVPI) 4.6 and associated Reporting & Network Solutions (RNS) 4.0 Report Packs. Additional purchases of OVPI 4.6 and RNS 4.0 Report Packs will be allowed through May 31, 2005, and HP will continue to provide support through April 30, 2006.
While the OVPI 4.6 and associated RNS 4.0 Report Packs may continue to meet your immediate needs, HP recommends that all customers upgrade to HP OpenView Performance Insight 5.1.

Submit your Enhancement Request online!
Quicker, direct, any time
March 2005
HP Software customers can now submit product enhancement requests (ER) using Software Support Online. This new service capability is being introduced following customer feedback for quicker and more direct enhancement request creation at your convenience.
Customers simply need to complete the enhancement request form found on Software Support Online. The web tool allows for direct request submission at any time. It also enables you to submit very specific, detailed information in your enhancement requests to ensure accurate documentation through the support chain.
HP Software Services is excited about this new capability that will give customers more control over how and when they submit product enhancement requests. |

Now available - HP OpenView Business Process Insight (OVBPI) pilot implementation service

Available March 1, 2005 in the Americas, the HP OpenView Business Process Insight (OVBPI) Pilot Implementation Service is offering a competitively priced service to customers who want to understand and experience the benefits of the HP OpenView Business Process Insight technology by monitoring the health of one business process within your organization.
The pilot service includes:
- 2-month OVBPI valid software
- Preparation and on-site demo set-up delivery
- Overall 60-day on-site pilot availability
- Post-delivery HP Expert e-mail assistance for follow-up questions
An HP expert installs HP OpenView Business Process Insight (OVBPI), configures the product to model the key steps of the business process, and then configures an adaptor to extract business data from the underlying IT systems. The HP Expert then customises the OVBPI dashboard to display some key metric information, and then demonstrates the product's capabilities. The completed installation and integration work will then be left on site for a further 60 days of use.
