Mission Critical services for HP OpenViewMay 2003
HP OpenView applications are used in many critical business environments; highly complex environments and environments where HP OpenView software is responsible for managing business-critical applications. In these support situations, consistent, focused attention and expertise is key to better overall IT performance.
For customers with an HP mission-critical support contract on their hardware and operating system, HP has created HP OpenView extensions to the proactive operating system software activities that you already are receiving as part of the HP Proactive 24 Service or the HP Critical Service respectively and provides proactive support and integrated problem resolution on your HP OpenView software.
The HP OpenView extension for the HP Critical Service will provide you with HP OpenView certified expert resources who team up with the HP Critical Service team to provide proactive support and integrated problem resolution, an assessment of the HP OpenView management server to ensure proper configuration of the HP OpenView software, a quarterly Patch analysis of the HP OpenView software, an annual HP OpenView Application Health Check on your management server, HP OpenView-focused technical advice, and integration of HP OpenView into support planning and review activities.
The HP OpenView extension for the HP Proactive 24 Service provides a pool of HP OpenView certified specialists for reactive and proactive support and integrated problem resolution, an assessment of your HP OpenView management server to ensure proper configuration of the HP OpenView applications, an annual HP OpenView Application Health Check on one HP OpenView application, a bi-annual patch analysis on the HP OpenView applications, HP OpenView-focused technical advice, and integration of HP OpenView into support planning and review activities.
The HP OpenView extensions to HP Proactive 24 Service and HP Critical Service are expected to be available in August 2003. The HP OpenView extension to HP Critical Service will replace HP OpenView Critical Premier Services. More information will soon be available on www.hp.com/hps/mission. |
