Do you use 'Remember Me' on HP Passport?
October 2005
As we are incorporating more services for you via our web sites, we need to increase security to protect your data. To that end we will be changing the 'remember me' functionality on HP Passport (HPP). Starting Oct 11th, the 'remember me' function will remember only your User ID not your password.
Impact
'Remember Me' users will be presented with the sign-in screen that requests their password. If you don't remember your password, you will need to request a new one. The link to the new password is sent via email. Hence, if you don't have a valid email address in your profile, you will not receive your password information.
For more information on password recovery read full story.
